Kevin Schofield was shocked but absolutely thrilled when his name was announced as the winner of the coveted David Hough Trophy for 2009, at the annual Christmas party in December.
He spent the rest of the evening in a state of euphoria, smiling and posing for photographs like a true celebrity. Workshop Manager, Colin Mills said “It has been a pleasure to see Kevin grow and develop during his time at the workshop. He has built up a solid skill base, become more confident in his abilities, is able to change roles when required and remains motivated irrespective of what task he undertakes.”
Kevin is a very popular member of the team, who loves to indulge in great talks with fellow trainees but does not let this detract from his productivity or quality of work. Always keen to please, Kevin has now received recognition for his efforts, which it is hoped will drive him on towards greater achievements and maturity.
